Overview

Role: Lead Interior Design Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Malvern, PA 19355
Schedule: Full-time, 100% on-site (Approx. 70% in studio, 30% at vendor/client sites)

We’re seeking a detail-driven, hands-on Lead Interior Design Project Manager to join our Interior Architecture and Design team. In this role, you’ll serve as the creative and operational lead across multiple luxury residential projects, combining design expertise with strong project management to deliver exceptional results. You’ll work closely with established builder partners, lead design decisions through the construction phase, and set the stage for seamless handoff to our furnishings team.

What You’ll Get
  • First-year earnings: $75K–$85K, experience-dependent

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the design process for luxury residential projects, from initial concept to construction execution
  • Guide clients through finishes, layouts, construction specifications, and sourcing decisions
  • Develop design concepts for hard surfaces, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, and millwork
  • Review architectural drawings and ensure alignment with the design intent
  • Collaborate closely with builder partners, trades, and vendors to bring designs to life
  • Source materials, obtain pricing, manage orders, and maintain detailed project documentation
  • Oversee project calendars, schedules, and milestones across 5–10 active projects
  • Lead client and vendor meetings, presentations, and site visits to ensure quality and timeline adherence
Who You Are
  • You have 7-10 years of experience in residential interior design, with a strong portfolio of residential work
  • You possess proven project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple high-end projects at once and have had direct responsibility for client-facing projects
  • You're a skilled communicator and collaborator, comfortable and agile with myriad stakeholders
  • You have a passion for luxury residential design and construction-based projects and finishings
  • You come to us proficient in CAD, Revit, or Bluebeam, with a strong eye for detail in reviewing and presenting design files
  • You're organized, efficient, and adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • You're tech-savvy with Google Workspace, HouzzPro, and Canva
  • You're adept with time tracking and time management
  • You're physically able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs for site and sample visits
