Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking Technicians Specialists to bring our distinctive service to customers' doors, installing furniture, appliances, and electronics as part of a two-person delivery crew in a 7.5-tonne vehicle. You will coach fellow drivers on home installations and customer service, serving as a role model for the high standards John Lewis is known for.

The role involves heavy lifting and visiting customers’ homes, with training and accreditation provided to expand your installer

Qualifications

• Essential skills include: ability to communicate clearly with customers
• Experience in a customer-facing role is required
• Ability to learn and apply new product knowledge and installer accreditation

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with top-tier customer service
• Coach and develop delivery drivers in home installation tasks
• Load deliveries with warehouse support and ensure timely completion
• Install products efficiently and demonstrate usage to customers
• Maintain safety and adapt to unforeseen situations while visiting homes
