Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Technician Specialist to install家具 and appliances at customers' homes as part of a 2-person crew. You will coach fellow drivers, load deliveries with the warehouse team, and ensure safe, respectful service of customers' homes.

The role includes evening and night premium pay and requires an 18+ age, heavy-lifting capability, and installation experience to uphold the John Lewis standard of service.

Qualifications

• Previous installation experience required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and install products at customers' homes.
• Manual C1 UK driving licence (max 6 points).
• DCPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) or Drivers Qualification Card.
• Tachograph Card and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install products at customer homes as part of a 2-person delivery crew.
• Coach, develop and assess delivery colleagues and share knowledge.
• Help load deliveries with the warehouse team.
• Demonstrate respect for customers' homes and handle issues professionally.
• Explain how installed products work and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Keep up to date with new products and safety practices.
