Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Technician Specialist to install products at customers' homes as part of a 2-person delivery crew driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle. You will also coach and develop other delivery drivers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a safe, efficient delivery process.

Roles involve loading deliveries with the warehouse team and operating within a five-week rota that includes early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous installation experience required and installer accreditation provided.
• UK Manual C1 driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• DCPC or Driver Qualification Card required by day one; Tachograph Card must be held.

Responsibilities

• Install products at customers' homes quickly and efficiently and demonstrate usage.
• Coach, develop and assess delivery drivers to represent the brand.
• Load deliveries with warehouse colleagues and maintain a safe, tidy vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle issues at the customer's home.
• Ensure a safe working environment and stay up-to-date with product knowledge.
