Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is recruiting Installation Specialists to join our Customer Delivery Hubs in the UK, delivering and installing products in customers' homes as part of a 2-person crew.

You will drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle, perform heavy lifting, and deliver a courteous, high-quality service while demonstrating products and ensuring safety. Flexible hours across six days, including early starts and weekends.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Manual C1 driving licence (max 6 points).
• DCPC or Driver Qualification Card required by day one.
• Tachograph Card required.
• Experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle preferred.
• Previous customer-facing experience.
• Strong verbal communication skills, in-person and over the phone.
• Good understanding of technology and smart devices.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with excellent customer service.
• Load deliveries with warehouse team and prepare the lorry for the day.
• Show respect for customers' homes and handle issues to find best solutions.
• Install products efficiently and demonstrate how they work after installation.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and new technologies.
• Maintain a safe working environment and comply with safety procedures.
