Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in senior construction management roles within highways or civil engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of construction standards, regulations, and contract management.
  • Proven ability to manage large budgets and complex programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction & maintenance teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of construction and maintenance works.
  • Ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with Staffordshire County Council and local authorities.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to avoid delays or incidents.
  • Promote best practices, new technologies, and sustainable construction methods.
  • Champion environmental initiatives and ensure compliance.
