Join our cutting‑edge Geoservices team. We are the leader in well construction and production. Our innovative physical and digital solutions improve efficiency, production and maximise reservoir value. Our Geoservices team provides support to multiple product lines within our organisation. We partner with internal cross‑functional teams and customers to provide services from exploration through to production. Take ownership for industry‑leading projects. You will focus on the Hydraulic Fracture Mapping sector of the Microseismic business, liaise with clients to prepare for and process projects, and work with the rest of the Microseismic team providing technical support.

Responsibilities
  • Process borehole seismic projects from pre‑survey design work through to final reporting and presentation to the client.
  • Work on survey types from zero‑offset vertical borehole surveys up to 3D VSP surveys.
  • Engage with the borehole seismic experts around the world for high‑end surveys to ensure projects are completed smoothly and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a good relationship with the local acquisition team and assist in survey planning and execution, attending relevant meetings internally and externally.
  • Promote borehole seismic and upsell high‑end products.
  • Assist the Microseismic team with daily permanent processing and hydraulic fracture mapping.
Qualifications
  • Have a BSc or MSc in Geoscience, a related earth science discipline or Petroleum Engineering.
  • Have significant experience in borehole seismic processing and client contact.
  • Be composed presenting processing products and talking about technical subjects with clients and internally.
  • Have experience of DAS to promote the use of this technology with clients.
  • Have experience with Microseismic permanent and hydraulic fracture mapping would be a benefit but not essential.
