A leading UK retailer is seeking a Lead Analyst for their Loss Forecasting & Portfolio Quality team in Liverpool. The role involves using data to provide insights on bad debt performance and IFRS 9 provisioning. Ideal candidates will have a quantitative degree and experience in credit risk analysis. You will work in the Loss Forecasting & Portfolio Quality team within Credit Risk which is a team of six (the Credit Risk department consists of around 60 FTE), working on multiple priorities within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Our team are responsible for aspects of bad debt including forecasting, loss provisioning, write‑offs, assessing portfolio quality, amongst much more.
We don’t expect you to know everything, we have a friendly team who will be able to support you and help you settle in and learn.
As a Lead Analyst you will be making best use of data to provide performance insights into bad debt performance, IFRS 9 provisioning and key aspects of portfolio quality. You will also have the opportunity to do this whilst working closely with our colleagues in the wider Credit Risk team, Finance and Treasury.
You’ll work on multiple priorities within a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and will need to be able to manage the expectations of stakeholders while prioritising your workload.

2nd Stage – A one‑hour formal interview where you can expect both competency and technical questions (task based). This can be held either in‑person or remotely.
