KS5 Tutor (Business studies, psychology and sociology)

Based within the borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced KS5 Tutor to support an incredibly dedicated and intelligent KS5 student with ASD and learning difficulties. This role has an immediate start and is for 52 weeks per year (with four weeks annual leave included). The successful candidate will be required to plan and deliver two subjects for this young person who is completing their A-levels.

KS5 tutor specifics:
Hours: 12 hours a week (including holidays)
Start Date: July/August 2025
Pay: £30 per hour

Ideal KS5 tutor

• Experience working with SEN children, particularly those with autism (ASD).
• Confident in planning and adapting lessons in line with the KS5 curriculum for the three subjects.
• Calm, empathetic, and responsive to the child’s needs and cues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

KS5 tutor requirements

• Experience in SEN, tutoring, or teaching (particularly with autism).
• Good understanding of the A level subjects and how to teach them.
• QTS or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
