Prospero Teaching is currently working with a vibrant primary school in Burton-Upon-Trent, to recruit an experienced Year 1 Class Teacher. This is a full-time, temporary position starting in September 2025 and running until the end of the academic year in July 2026. Requirements

• QTS and extensive experience teaching at Key Stage 2, specifically in Year 5.

• Strong communication skills, with a focus on working collaboratively with staff and engaging with parents.
• Ability to tailor teaching to meet the needs of all students.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).

Eligibility to Apply

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
