Are you a qualified teacher (QTS / QTLS) or experienced tutor passionate about transforming outcomes for young people who are out of school due to SEN, SEMH, ASD, ADHD, school refusal, anxiety or medical needs?

The CatchUp Academy is an Approved Alternative Provision & Specialist Tuition Partner for Suffolk, and due to growing demand we are looking for exceptional tutors to deliver 1:1 in-person tuition for children and young people unable to attend mainstream school.

This is highly rewarding, relationship-focused work where you can create real change - one learner at a time.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver 1:1 tuition in English / Maths / Science and/or Primary curriculum subjects
  • Teach in the student's home, school or community venue
  • Build confidence, emotional engagement and trust through personalised learning
  • Work collaboratively with parents, schools and support professionals
  • Record progress and outcomes to evidence impact
Hours & Flexibility
  • 6-30 hours per week available
  • You choose your workload - as little or as much as suits your circumstances
  • Sessions run during school hours (9am-3pm), Mon-Fri
  • No evenings or weekends
What We’re Looking For
  • QTS / QTLS or extensive tutoring experience
  • SEN experience (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PDA, dyslexia etc.)
  • Calm, patient, relational approach
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
  • Able to travel locally
