Job summary

Parkdean Resorts UK Limited is hiring a Kitchen Assistant to support our busy culinary team across our UK parks. You’ll prep ingredients, help chefs during service, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well, and is flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Training in Food Hygiene Level 2 is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced kitchen experience or willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity and basic food prep skills.
• Positive, energetic approach and commitment to great service.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 or willing to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, and prep ingredients for service.
• Receive deliveries, check stock quality and expiry.
• Rotate stock to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Keep kitchen clean and hygienic.
• Support basic food preparation tasks as directed.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues for smooth service.
• Report suspected weaknesses or breaches in information systems.
• Uphold safeguarding, health, safety and hygiene responsibilities.
