We are seeking a Part Time Kitchen Porter to join us at The Old Swan Hotel– Harrogate.

Key Responsibilities of the Kitchen Porter Role

• Cleaning and sanitising all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation tasks as required.
• Managing waste disposal and recycling operations.
• Ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes, pots, and pans by operating the dishwasher and performing handwashing tasks when necessary.

Required Skills And Qualifications For The Kitchen Porter

• Prior experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Shift Patterns are 7-3:30 pm & 3-11 pm – must be available evenings/weekends and bank holidays.
