Job summary

A hospitality services provider in Aberdeen City is looking for kitchen support staff. You will be responsible for dishwashing, kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with food preparation. Job description

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing Wash dishes utensils and kitchen equipment either by hand or using industrial dishwashers
• Kitchen Cleanliness Clean and sanitise kitchen surfaces countertops and food preparation areas. Empty rubbish bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
• Food Preparation Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling chopping and slicing ingredients
• Inventory Management Assist in receiving storing and organising kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Compliance with Health and safety Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen ensuring equipment is in good working order

Qualifications

• No formal education is required but a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation practices is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
