Job description

Our Kitchen Assistants focus on supporting kitchen team in creating positively memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role reports to the Kitchen Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Basic Food Preparation: When the kitchen is extremely busy, kitchen staff may ask you to support with basic food prep.
  • Dishwashing: All dishes ranging from pots and pans to cutlery are either hand washed or loaded into the dishwasher.
  • Delivery Organisation: You will be responsible for receiving deliveries and ensuring they are organised once in the kitchen.
  • Storage Management: Storage must be organised so that all ingredients are easily accessible.
  • Waste Removal: All waste bins are emptied, ensuring all waste is disposed of promptly.
  • Material collection: If your Chefs need materials or ingredients, you will support by collecting them.

This role manual handling, using cleaning chemicals and equipment and spending a lot of time on your feet, so a commitment to health and safety is vital.
