Overview

We are currently looking to hire an enthusiastic full-time Kitchen Assistant who can help provide the meals service at our Care Home in Dundee.

Role & Responsibilities
  • To help prepare meals under the direction of the Chef
  • Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are hygienically clean and organised
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Help with the storage and stock rotation of food items
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Complying with infection control policies and procedures and following appropriate hand hygiene measures
What We Are Looking For
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of food hygiene practices is a plus
