Kitchen Assistant - Riverdale, £12.21 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of a range of meals to suit individual tastes and requirements, demonstrating a caring nature toward others.
  • Engage with residents in a friendly and kind manner, ensuring dietary preferences and needs are met and creating a positive dining experience for everyone.
  • Deliver personalised menu plans that ensure residents are treated with dignity and that their rights to privacy, independence and choice are respected.
  • Support continued learning and development within the team, helping to broaden skills and knowledge related to kitchen operations in a care setting.
  • Contribute to delivering quality nutritional experiences for residents.
Qualifications
  • Cook/Kitchen Assistant experience, preferably gained in a care home setting.
  • Ability to nurture, encourage and care; flexibility, professionalism and skills to make meaningful contributions to residents’ lives.
