Overview

Relief Kitchen Assistant – Location: Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, SL9 9DL. Pay rate: £12.27 per hour. Contracted hours: Relief.

Mulberry Court care home is a small, friendly home in the heart of Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire. Mulberry Court has 23 boutique-style en-suite bedrooms and a dedicated visitor lounge, along with many other facilities, making it modern yet homely and personal.

Responsibilities
  • Create delicious meals, snacks and drinks for residents.
  • Get to know residents, understand their preferences, and help ensure mealtimes are a highlight of their day.
  • Work with the catering team to provide care, warmth and kindness in a home setting.
  • Support kitchen hygiene standards and follow food safety practices.

About You

You don’t need prior formal catering experience, as training will be provided. A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be helpful. We’re looking for someone who is keen on cooking and takes pride in kitchen hygiene standards, with a positive can-do attitude, good communication skills, and a passion for ensuring residents receive the best service. You’ll be comfortable engaging with elderly residents and enjoy being part of the wider team in the home.
