Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms is seeking an organized and proactive Customer Account Manager in Cannock. You will manage key accounts from order to delivery, coordinate projects with sales and internal teams, and ensure superb customer service.

The role suits someone who values accuracy, timeliness and strong relationship-building. Ideal candidates will have experience in project coordination or account management, plus excellent communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination, account management, sales support or customer service.
• Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload and manage multiple projects.
• Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, Excel and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple key customer accounts on a day-to-day basis.
• Coordinate customer projects from initial order through to successful completion.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise regularly with customers, providing updates on project progress and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues and the external sales team.
• Monitor and manage stock allocated to customer accounts.
• Identify and resolve issues quickly, ensuring minimal disruption to projects.
• Coordinate customer approvals for new product lines.
• Ensure clear communication across all departments to keep projects on track.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while meeting deadlines.
