Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms is recruiting a Customer Account Manager in Wednesbury to join a long-established business with a 40-year track record. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, process orders and invoices, and support credit control while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires solid accounts administration experience, excellent communication, and reliable IT skills (MS Office).

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts administration, invoicing, or customer accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical work.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers.
• Process customer orders, invoices and related account documentation.
• Monitor outstanding payments and assist with credit control activities.
• Respond to customer queries relating to accounts, invoices and payments.
• Ensure customer and account records are accurate and kept up to date.
• Liaise with customers and internal departments to resolve queries efficiently.
• Work closely with the Sales, Accounts and Operations teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
• Assist with resolving account discrepancies and customer issues.
• Provide general accounts administration and office support as required.
• Ensure all account information and documentation is maintained accurately and efficiently.
