Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms is seeking a dedicated Customer Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of customer accounts from our Wednesbury base in the West Midlands. You will ensure accurate invoicing and account administration while maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting sales, accounts and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of accounts administration and invoicing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence dealing with customers and resolving account queries.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience using an accounting, ERP or CRM system would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers.
• Process customer orders, invoices and related account documentation.
• Monitor outstanding payments and provide support with credit control activities.
• Respond to customer queries relating to accounts, invoices and payments.
• Ensure customer and account records are accurate and kept up to date.
• Liaise with customers and internal departments to resolve queries efficiently.
• Work closely with the Sales, Accounts and Operations teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
• Assist with resolving account discrepancies and customer issues.
• Provide general accounts administration and office support as required.
• Ensure all account information and documentation is maintained accurately and efficiently.
