Job summary

PATH Recruitment in the Midlands is seeking a passionate Key Account Manager to drive growth across major customers. You will manage key accounts through regular visits, targeted presentations and strategic follow-ups to expand revenue and loyalty.

This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a company car, fuel card, pension and healthcare benefits, plus equipment such as laptop and mobile to support field activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in the hire industry is essential.
• Experience managing large key/major/national accounts.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop business from Major customers via account management, customer visits and presentations.
• Update Contact database and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct regular customer visits and attend major customer events.
• Account manage major customers with potential to increase revenue.
• Support the sales cycle from lead to order with clear communication.

The Key Account Manager Opportunity:

• Develop business from Major customers via account management, customer visits and presentations.
• Updating Contact database
• Regular Customer Visits
• Attending Major customer events
• Account manage major customers with potential to increase revenue

To be successeful as the Key Account Manager:

• Previous experience within the hire industry is essential, this could be plant hire, tool hire, welfare hire, powered access, generator hire, lifting hire, non mechanical hire, crane hire, pump hire or related
• Experience managing large key/major/national accounts
• Full UK Driving License
• A proven track record of developing key customer relationsips
• Strong communication, negotation and presentation skills
