Job summary

The role offers a basic salary circa £50-60k, a commission scheme (OTE £20-27k), and benefits including a company car, pension, healthcare, laptop and mobile. Monday–Friday work with 25 days holiday plus BH.

Qualifications

• Experience within the hire industry is essential.
• Experience managing large key/major/national accounts.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven track record of developing key customer relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop business from major customers via account management, customer visits and presentations.
• Update contact database and attend major customer events.
• Regular customer visits to grow revenue with key accounts.
• Account manage major customers with potential to increase revenue.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at national accounts.

The Key Account Manager Opportunity:

• Develop business from Major customers via account management, customer visits and presentations.
• Updating Contact database
• Regular Customer Visits
• Attending Major customer events
• Account manage major customers with potential to increase revenue

To be successeful as the Key Account Manager:

• Previous experience within the hire industry is essential, this could be plant hire, tool hire, welfare hire, powered access, generator hire, lifting hire, non mechanical hire, crane hire, pump hire or related
• Experience managing large key/major/national accounts
• Full UK Driving License
• A proven track record of developing key customer relationsips
• Strong communication, negotation and presentation skills
