Job summary

PATH Recruitment seeks a Key Account Manager to cover the Midlands, driving growth with major customers. The role includes account management, visits, and presentations, with opportunities to increase revenue and maintain strong client relationships.

Salary is £50,000–£60,000 basic plus commission (OTE £20,000–£27,000), with a Monday–Friday pattern, company car, fuel card, pension, healthcare, laptop and mobile. UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the hire industry is essential.
• Experience managing large key/major/national accounts.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven track record of developing key customer relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop business from major customers via account management, customer visits and presentations.
• Update contact database.
• Conduct regular customer visits.
• Attend major customer events.
• Account manage major customers with potential to increase revenue.

The Key Account Manager Opportunity:

To be successeful as the Key Account Manager:

• Previous experience within the hire industry is essential, this could be plant hire, tool hire, welfare hire, powered access, generator hire, lifting hire, non mechanical hire, crane hire, pump hire or related
• Experience managing large key/major/national accounts
• Full UK Driving License
• A proven track record of developing key customer relationsips
• Strong communication, negotation and presentation skills
