Job Role: Justice Work Coach

Location: HMP Stocken
Salary: Up to 28,000
Contract: Permanent

Role Overview

We are looking to recruit a Gateway Facilitator (Justice Work Coach) to deliver short courses in Personal and Social Development (PSD) to learners based at HMP Stocken.

In this role, you will work with small groups of prison-based learners, supporting them to develop their confidence, employability, life skills and personal effectiveness. You will help them build the knowledge and behaviors needed to progress towards their long-term goals and aspirations, both inside custody and on release.

You will ensure that suitable learning plans are in place, provide advice and guidance where required, and deliver high-quality, engaging sessions that motivate learners to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • A teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., AET/PTLLS/TAQA).
  • Experience working in custodial or high-support environments.
