A creative studio in the UK is looking for a motivated Junior Systems Administrator to provide first-line technical support in a hybrid working environment. You will handle IT queries across Windows, macOS, and Linux, manage user accounts, and maintain hardware and software systems. Territory Studio is looking for a Junior Systems Administrator to join our Systems team. Reporting to the Senior Systems Engineer, you will provide first-line technical support to artists and production staff. This is a hands‑on role focused on Level 1 support, offering the opportunity to develop systems administration skills within a creative studio environment.
This role is based at our London studio and follows a hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of 2 days per week on site.
We are a creative specialist with a unique approach to motion design, visual effects, and digital experiences. Drawing on deep expertise in narrative design for film, games, and brands, we blend creativity with technology to deliver compelling work that pushes boundaries.
Working across diverse and contrasting briefs, what ties our projects together is a dedication to craft, a passion for storytelling, and a designer’s eye for innovative problem‑solving. What sets us apart is our refined design intelligence, near‑future expertise, and a team of ambitious, focused, and proactive cross‑disciplinary creatives.
With growing studios in London, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Vancouver, we work with clients across the entertainment, culture, commercial, and technology sectors. Our success stems from the expertise of our people, and in return, we are committed to putting them first.
First-Line Support: Act as the primary point of contact for IT queries across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. Triage support tickets, diagnose issues, and resolve them efficiently or escalates where appropriate.
Workstation Management: Build, image, and deploy workstations for users, ensuring systems are configured appropriately for resource‑intensive software such as Houdini, Nuke, and Cinema 4D.

Hardware & Maintenance: Maintain accurate IT inventory records, ensure server room and desk cabling are organised, and carry out routine maintenance on render nodes and storage systems.
Software Support: Troubleshoot software installation and licensing issues across the creative software stack, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Maya, Nuke, and Unreal Engine.
Escalation & Documentation: Identify more complex or underlying infrastructure issues and escalates them to the Senior Engineer, providing clear and thorough diagnostic documentation.

Relevant Experience: Experience in an IT support role. Experience in a creative or media environment is desirable but not essential.

Knowledge of VFX software (Cinema 4D, Houdini, Adobe, etc.).
Experience with Render Farm management.
