A hospitality company in the UK is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join their busy kitchen team. The successful candidate will manage kitchen operations and supervise a team of 8 chefs while adapting to various cooking styles. A Junior Sous Chef position is available at a four star town house hotel which is a busy dining venue serving seasonally changing fresh, modern British dishes and grill specialities in the restaurant. The hotel also offers a more relaxed dining menu in the bar and hosts private events, weddings and conference and afternoon teas. As a result this Junior Sous Chef role will require you to adapt to a number of different cooking styles whilst supporting the Senior Chefs with the day to day management of the kitchen and the supervision of the team of 8 chefs in the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing hotel company.
CVs will be considered from experienced snr chef de Parties or Junior Sous Chefs, it is important that they highlight experience working in busy kitchens serving multiple dining operations for a minimum of 2 years. A Chef who has the drive and ability to work well under pressure and is a good all rounder.
