Job description

Bally's Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence. It currently owns and manages 15 casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse racetrack in Colorado, and has access to OSB licenses in 18 states. It also owns Bally's Interactive International, Bally Bet, and Bally Casino, and has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the Tropicana closure.

Overview

Our digital experiences web team is developing mobile-first, responsively designed websites and tools to create a fully custom casino experience for players globally, across all devices and embedded in native apps. We work with React and NodeJS and aim to deliver high-quality features through vertical teams with a strong focus on quality.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and deliver high-quality software features, taking ownership from conception to production.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and other departments to contribute to the overall success of the product.
  • Implement and deploy progressive technical practices, including continuous delivery, walking skeleton, and pipeline automation.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of architectural concepts and identify opportunities to leverage bleeding-edge technologies effectively.

Technical skills we’re looking for

  • Experience in web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML (we write everything in TypeScript).
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks, specifically React and Node.
  • Familiarity with REST and RESTful practices, as well as messaging technologies.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Jasmine, or Mocha.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration principles.

Desirable experience (but not required)

  • Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.).
  • Familiarity with automation test frameworks like Playwright.
  • Test Driven Development (TDD) experience.
