Roofing Estimator at NSS Maintenance

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum (DOE)

Location – Altrincham

The Division

NSS Maintenance are a working at height contractor working throughout UK, servicing facilities management clients and the refurbishment industry alike.

Our national coverage operates from four UK depots to offer planned and reactive building fabric maintenance and refurbishment services to commercial, retail and industrial sectors. We currently employee over 600 employees directly across the NSS Group and own a fully serviced truck mounted access fleet, which we use in house for reactive and planned maintenance and cleaning requests

The Role

As a junior Roofing Estimator, you’ll play a key role in pricing, quoting, and supporting maintenance and refurbishment projects. You will:

• Prepare estimates following reactive maintenance visits
• Ensure quotes meet required SLAs with clear cost breakdowns
• Support contract managers and liaise with clients to build strong relationships
• Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and suppliers to ensure accurate information and competitive pricing
• Analyse commercial opportunities to benefit the business
• Manage multiple enquiries across the UK while maintaining service quality
• Contribute ideas to improve estimating processes and procedures

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in quoting small to medium projects (larger tenders a bonus)
• Commercially aware with strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Confident liaising with stakeholders at all levels
• Able to manage multiple opportunities at pace
• Knowledgeable in H&S legislation and how it impacts pricing
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently

Experience in roofing, coatings, remedial solutions, or dilapidations is beneficial, but training will be provided.
