Job summary

Back TO Work in Gateshead is looking for an apprentice to join its busy IT helpdesk. This role offers variety in daily tasks and a clear entry path into the IT sector, with a focus on IT support, networking and hardware.

You will gain hands-on experience repairing hardware, reinstalling operating systems, solving incidents remotely, and sometimes commissioning equipment at customer sites, including travel for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Independent and team-working skills required.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Keen to start a career in IT.
• Interest in IT support, networking and hardware.
• IT hobbyist welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities
