Job summary

HUBTEL IT LTD is seeking an IT Support Apprentice to join our team. You will work alongside experienced engineers providing first-line IT support while building skills in troubleshooting, networking and customer service.

Responsibilities include logging requests, basic troubleshooting, configuring devices, and assisting with printers and peripherals, with guidance on IT procedures and security practices.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in IT and technology.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of MS Windows and O365.
• English and maths GCSEs.
• Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Answering and logging IT support requests.
• Basic troubleshooting.
• Prepare and configure laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
• Support the setup of printers, phones and peripherals.
• Escalate complex IT issues.
• Keep detailed notes in the ticketing system.
• Learn and follow IT procedures, security policies and best practices.
