Job summary

Team RH in Gateshead is seeking an IT Support Technician to keep people, devices and systems running in a fast-paced, owner-led environment.

You will set up workstations, support Microsoft 365, manage identity and access, and be the first point of contact when issues arise, ensuring security and GDPR compliance across the business.

Balance hands-on support with ticket resolution and contribute to security improvements and documentation for both technical and non-technical staff.

Qualifications

• Hands-on desktop support, on-site and remote.
• Experience handling service requests promptly.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 implementations.
• Ability to manage multiple items in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own incidents and service requests end-to-end.
• Keep stakeholders updated daily.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot workstations and Microsoft 365.
• Administer identity and access in Microsoft Entra.
• Support business tool platforms.
• Maintain IT assets and inventory.
• Monitor and improve asset and policy management.
• Uphold security best practices.
• Document improvements for technical and non-technical users.
• Contribute to core business projects with IT team.
