Job summary

Maritime Transport is seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to join our IT Team at our Felixstowe Head Office while also completing a roll-specific apprenticeship. You will provide IT support to Maritime staff across the UK via telephone, email and face to face, using Manage Engine and ServiceDesk Plus to manage tickets.

The role offers comprehensive training, a fast-paced environment, and opportunities to progress within a market-leading intermodal logistics business.

Qualifications

• Problem solving mindset and strong verbal/written communication.
• Some familiarity with Microsoft operating systems.
• High level of self-motivation to improve.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve IT tickets via a 3rd party ticketing system.
• Manage workload using the IT Support System (Manage Engine, ServiceDesk Plus).
• Provide guidance to end users on good practice for computing equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and triage basic software and hardware issues.
• Administration of user accounts through Microsoft 365 and Active Directory as well as accounts for 3rd party applications.
