Job summary

Dunlop Oil & Marine Ltd in Grimsby is seeking an IT Support Technician to join the local IT team. You will assist with system, software, hardware, network and user support, ensuring smooth daily operations across the site.

The role involves responding to 1st line tickets, setting up workstations and user profiles, and supporting shopfloor equipment and networks while contributing to IT improvement projects.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs (incl. computer-related subject) required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in enrolling on qualification-based courses.
• Willingness to work with IT systems and users.

Responsibilities

• Create and support internal reports and applications.
• Respond to 1st line user support tickets.
• Day to day support and maintenance of networks and equipment.
• Assist in setting up workstations, profiles and mobile devices.
• Support shopfloor scanners and lab equipment.
• Liaise with Continental support and participate in IT improvements.
