Teemill Tech Ltd in Freshwater invites applications for an IT Service Desk Apprentice to provide reliable internal IT support across the business. You will ensure employees have the right equipment, access and first-line technical support to perform their roles effectively.

As an apprentice, you will learn to resolve common hardware and software issues, manage IT equipment inventory and support site IT infrastructure, with development opportunities into Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support across the business, resolving common hardware, software, equipment and connectivity issues and escalating specialist issues appropriately.
• Manage company IT equipment including laptops, phones, scanners, peripherals and production IT hardware, ensuring appropriate availability and security.
• Coordinate IT requirements for joiners, movers and leavers, ensuring equipment and access requirements are completed within agreed timescales.
• Maintain an accurate IT asset register, equipment allocation records and appropriate controls for company hardware and spares.
• Support site IT infrastructure and production IT equipment, working with Development and external providers where specialist support is required.
