Junior Flow Survey Analyst • Nelson - Office Based • Permanent (37 hours) • Competitive Salary plus benefits

At Detectronic, we're on a mission to help water companies across the UK prevent pollution and protect our environment through cutting-edge wastewater network monitoring. We design and manufacture our own innovative flow and level monitoring systems, backed by robust data services and a dedicated in-house team.

We're looking for a Junior Flow Survey Analyst to join us in delivering the insights that keep our clients informed and their networks running smoothly.

Responsibilities

More about the role :

  • Analyse incoming flow and level data using an appropriate data platform to derive actionable insights and conclusions.
  • Post-installation validation.
  • Identify trends and anomalies, at both full fleet and individual site level.
  • Interim reporting to the Client.
  • Internal reporting on fleet health and site visit statistics.
  • Update databases with new installations of monitoring equipment and record follow-up site activity. Ensure records are kept up to date with all site visits and actions taken.
  • Facilitate metadata transfer to an appropriate data platform to ensure the client has access to their flow / level data.
  • Act as a contact point for the client and respond to any queries raised. Act as a contact point for Field Service Technicians with on-site data queries.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Environmental Science, Maths or other related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Excel and confidence working with data platforms.
  • Good communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • A self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is a bonus, but full training will be provided.
  • Right to work in the UK is essential.
