Location & Setup: Manchester (site-based role, Monday to Friday)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

About the Role

We're partnering with a leading multi-branded fast-paced manufacturing business that is continuing to grow, and as part of that expansion, we're recruiting a brand-new Junior Buyer to join their procurement team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop within buying and supply chain. You'll support the Purchasing Manager and wider operations team, source materials (directs & packaging), manage supplier information, and ensure the smooth running of daily production activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and purchase materials in line with production requirements.
  • Raise and process purchase orders accurately and on time.
  • Support supplier evaluations and wider sourcing activities.
  • Maintain supplier files and build accurate supplier databases.
  • Assist with cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Work closely with production, operations, and supply chain teams to support efficient day-to-day processes and new product launches.
  • Provide administrative and purchasing support to the Purchasing Manager.
