Job summary

A local barbershop is looking for a motivated Junior Barber to support daily operations while learning essential skills in men’s grooming. The role involves assisting senior barbers, maintaining shop hygiene, and interacting with clients. Previous experience in barbering is an advantage, and full training will be provided. This is a temporary position with a flexible schedule of up to 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Good communication and people skills.
• Willing to learn and follow safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior barbers with preparing tools and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the shop.
• Greet and communicate professionally with clients.
• Observe and practice basic cutting and styling under supervision.
• Help with product organization and stock rotation.
• Support general barbershop duties as directed.
