Junior Account Manager

£32,000 - £34,000 per annum + Package

Hybrid; ideally located London, Birmingham or Manchester

Are you ready to take the next step in your sales career? We're looking for a tenacious and proactive Junior Account Manager to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to develop their career in account management, focusing on managing group accounts rather than independents.

The Role

You'll be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with purchasing managers, finance leads, chefs, and business owners across a wide range of sectors, including food manufacturing, hospitality, and retail. With the support of a structured training programme, you'll manage a portfolio of existing accounts while identifying opportunities to drive further growth.

  • Managing a portfolio of group accounts with a strong focus on growth and retention.
  • Building strong, lasting relationships at all levels of your clients' businesses.
  • Proactively identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Using Excel and CRM tools to analyse data, spot trends, and drive decision-making.
  • Working closely with senior colleagues to develop your skills and maximise account performance.
