In this role, you will

As a Sales Development Representative, you will own activity targets for qualifying potential customers from inbound and outbound initiatives. You will explore and recommend new outbound sales initiatives to drive qualified sales leads. The sales development team is accountable for meeting monthly and quarterly targets, speaking with and qualifying inbound leads, and developing new opportunities through outbound prospecting. Other responsibilities may be assigned to align with the organization\'s values.

Work you’ll do
  • Outreach: Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and emails.
  • Prospecting: Conduct discovery calls with prospects and attend trade shows to meet prospects. Understand how the Panopto platform is used to qualify prospects based on their needs.
  • Qualifying Leads: Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest to grow your database of prospects within your territory.
  • Team Collaboration: Develop demand generation through campaigns, sales leads, and prospect calls. Partner with sales to bring new customers on board and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for development and closure.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM, Outreach, or ZoomInfo.
  • Proven inside sales or sales development experience converting prospects.
  • Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, and call control.
  • Track record of over-achieving quotas and targets.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing multiple calls per day.
  • Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Ability to stay organized, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with technology and/or B2B sales.
  • Experience qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
  • Interest in continuous learning and trying new things.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EMEA: Fluency in English plus German, French, Italian and/or Spanish preferred; other European languages are a plus.
  • APAC: Fluency in English and Japanese preferred; Mandarin or Korean a plus.

Salary: $42,000 - $45,000 per year. This position is eligible for commission earnings per the Sales Commissions Plan with on-target earnings as part of the compensation package.

The Team

The Sales Development Team at Panopto is a globally diverse group focused on building the new business pipeline by qualifying leads (inbound and outbound), setting up meetings and demos for Account Executives. The EMEA team includes Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and SDRs across regions with a mix of full-time and contractor staff. We are also hiring for an SDR in APAC based in Singapore.
