Salary: 24,849 - 27,676

Prospero Teaching are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Job Coach to support young adults with learning disabilities through their supported internship placements. This rewarding role focuses on developing employability skills and fostering independence, with the ultimate goal of helping interns transition into paid employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored, one-to-one support to interns and host employers throughout the placement
  • Identify suitable tasks aligned with each intern's strengths and abilities
  • Collaborate with employers to ensure responsibilities are achievable and meaningful
  • Create tools such as Task Boards to promote independent working
  • Use strategies like Job Carving to break down complex tasks into manageable steps
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and offer guidance
  • Deliver written support plans outlining intern needs and safeguarding considerations
  • Host pre-placement Meet & Greet sessions to build strong relationships with employers
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of interns and employers, including occasional evenings and weekends
