Learning Manager for Mathematics

Are you ready to shape the future of maths education and make a real difference in learners' lives? Due to growth, we are looking for an inspiring Learning Manager for Mathematics to lead and strengthen our maths provision across the college.

The role
  • Lead the design and delivery of our maths curriculum, from GCSE resits and Functional Skills to adult learning and employer-led programmes.
  • Support and develop a committed and talented team of teachers to deliver excellent lessons and outcomes.
  • Work with colleagues, schools, employers and awarding bodies to ensure our offer is ambitious, inclusive and future-focused.
  • Drive innovation through digital tools, evidence-informed practice and inclusive pedagogy.
About you
  • Strong knowledge of maths teaching and curriculum development.
  • A track record of effective teaching and supporting student progress.
  • An understanding of the Education Inspection Framework.
  • The ability to lead with confidence: motivating colleagues, setting direction, and driving improvement. You may already be in a formal leadership role, or you may have developed these skills through leading projects, initiatives or teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Incentives

A retention incentive bonus up to £3,000 T&Cs apply:

  • A one-off incentive bonus of up to £3,000 may be awarded upon successful completion of the probation period. The exact amount will be determined at the offer stage, based on the candidate's skills, experience and current salary.
  • Eligibility and incentive level will be assessed in relation to the job specification and required skill set.
  • Following successful completion of probation, candidates are required to remain in post for a minimum of 18 months. Early departure will result in full repayment of the incentive.
