Overview

Truro and Penwith Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed Mobile IT Technician with experience of supporting users, to contribute to the delivery of an effective IT Support Service throughout the trust. The role requires providing day-to-day first line support in the running and maintenance of the schools IT systems including hardware, software, servers and infrastructure. The strength of the trust's IT support team is built on technicians who work hard to provide the best support and service to teachers and students to ensure a reliable teaching and learning environment. We share an ethos which promotes high standards of support in all of our schools and foster a strong team member mentality and a positive contribution to the whole team.

About You

You will have experience and technical IT knowledge of up-to-date operating systems and software, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues. You will be familiar with common user applications including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Teams, and have a strong passion for learning and developing your own IT skills. This position requires that the applicant enjoys engaging with young people and is able to stay calm under pressure with a positive can-do attitude.
