Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking an on-site IT Technician to maintain and repair company IT and network systems in Shrewsbury. The role covers SI kill line and Innova factory systems, plus Digi DPS and label designs for the factory retail setup.

You will diagnose network issues, support printers and terminals, and liaise with SI and Marel for software and printer concerns. Prior manufacturing IT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth running of SI kill line system incl. diagnosing and fixing network connection issues.
• Support first line fixes of SI terminals and printers; act as a contact for software issues.
• Coordinate with Marel for printer issues and with SI for software issues.
• Maintain Innova factory system, diagnose OCM faults, assist with initial build of Innova OCMs.
• Provide first line support for Innova system and for the Digi DPS plUs and label designs.
• Maintain Shrewsbury network infrastructure: wireless, PCs, printers, CCTV, telephony, Office 365, Azure/Intune, AD knowledge.

The Role

The post holder will be responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance and repair of the company IT and network systems.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday from 6am to 2:30pm, with some flexibility to meet the demands of the business including occasional weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain smooth running of SI kill line system including: -

• Diagnosing and fixing network connection issues
• Diagnosing and first line fixing of broken SI terminals and printers
• Point of contact with SI re software issues
• Point of contact with Marel re printer issues

Factory – Innova

Maintain smooth running of Innova factory system including: -

• Diagnosing and first line fixing of OCM faults and printer faults.
• Initial build of Innova OCMs
• First line support for the Innova system

Factory – Retail

Creation and maintenance of:

• Digi DPS plu’s and label designs

Maintenance of the Shrewsbury network infrastructure & miscellaneous including: -

• Wireless access points
• Desktop PCs and laptops
• Photocopiers and desktop printers
• CCTV and telephone system
• Office 365 Suite of applications
• Azure and Intune deployment
• Active Directory knowledge and understanding

Knowledge & Experience

• Previous IT experience is essential, previous IT experience within manufacturing is desirable.
