Job summary

Role Definition

• Support, repair and monitoring of IT systems across all departments in a fast-paced and production environment.
• Support, repair and monitoring of IT systems across all departments in a fast-paced and production environment.
• Support and configuration of Digi/Marel Retail Production labelling machines.
• Responsible for support of the IT network infrastructure and ensure that the site has in place a secure and resilient environment..
• Factory systems software configuration and support.
• Production hardware repair and support.
• Maintenance and repair of Overhead Track Scales.
• Maintenance and repair Industrial Thermal Printers.
• Monitoring of Backup, Antivirus and Windows update systems.
• Microsoft 365 application administration and support.
• Microsoft Intune Administration.
• Prioritise and follow up support calls within the manufacturing environment.
• Communicate with all levels of the business both operational and managerial.
• Maintain a list of issues and ensure that they are managed and cleared in a timely manner using our internal service desk for traceability.
• Commissioning of desktop and laptop hardware.
• Installing and testing operating systems and software applications
• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems
• Customer Telephone and face-to-face support.
• Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organisations policies and procedures and industry legalisation.

• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 environment and Office applications, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Mechanical background with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving and a willingness to undertake tasks required to support site production processes.
• Confident working independently, using initiative to complete tasks and resolve issues while on shift.
• Able to integrate quickly into an established IT team and become a key contributor to maintaining the high levels of service required by the business.
• Demonstrates a proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to supporting operational and production objectives.
