Job summary

Mansfield District Council is seeking an enthusiastic systems support technician to join our busy ICT team in Mansfield. You will be the first point of contact for end users, resolving a wide range of hardware and software issues and deploying desktop hardware and peripherals.

The role requires clear communication via phone, email and face-to-face, the ability to work under pressure, and an interest in ICT and new technologies. A Basic DBS check will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in the investigation and resolution of end user ICT issues and queries.
• Strong communication skills and a confident approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
• Keen interest in ICT and new technologies.
