Mansfield District Council is seeking an enthusiastic ICT Support Technician to join the busy ICT team. You will provide first-line support to end users and help resolve hardware and software issues.
Responsibilities include configuring and deploying desktop hardware, maintaining knowledge base articles and asset registers, and communicating clearly by phone, email and in person. DBS check required; closing date 30 August 2026.
ICT Support Technician
£28,598 - £33,699 per annum (pay award pending)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and experienced systems support technician to join our busy ICT team at Mansfield District Council.
As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in providing support to end users and undertaking a wide range of duties including the investigation and resolution of technical hardware and software issues, configuration and deployment of desktop hardware and peripherals along with developing and maintaining knowledge base articles and asset registers.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills via telephone, email and face-to-face contact whilst handling a wide range of enquiries in a helpful and professional manner.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Basic DBS check
Canvassing of Members of the Council (directly or indirectly) for any appointment shall disqualify the candidate for that appointment. Applicants should disclose if they are related to a Member or Officer of the Authority.
