Mansfield District Council is seeking an enthusiastic systems support technician to join our busy ICT team in Mansfield. You will be the first point of contact for end users, resolving a wide range of hardware and software issues and deploying desktop hardware and peripherals.
The role requires clear communication via phone, email and face-to-face, the ability to work under pressure, and an interest in ICT and new technologies. A Basic DBS check will be required.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and experienced systems support technician to join our busy ICT team at Mansfield District Council.
As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in providing support to end users and undertaking a wide range of dutiesincluding the investigation and resolution of technical hardware and software issues, configuration and deployment of desktop hardware and peripherals along with developing and maintaining knowledge base articles and asset registers.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills via telephone, email and face-to-face contact whilst handling a wide range of enquiries in a helpful and professional manner.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Basic DBS check
