Overview

IT Support Technician - ROMFORD (Onsite) - Initially up to 3 months - (Apply online only)/day Umbrella

Are you passionate about technology and providing exceptional support? We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our client's dynamic team and deliver high-quality technical assistance across the clients of five sites.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
  • Provide first and second-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems and peripherals.
  • Manage and respond to service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
System Maintenance
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, including software updates, backups, and system monitoring.
  • Assist in maintaining the asset register.
User Support
  • Deliver IT support to end-users across all five schools.
  • Document and share common technical issues and solutions for future reference.
Networking
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of networking systems and services (DHCP, GPOs, DNS, Active Directory, Print Management, Hyper-V, Virtualisation).
  • Troubleshoot internet connectivity issues on end-user devices.
