Job summary

QA, an Oxford-based MSP, is hiring an IT Support Apprentice to join our technical team, focused on day-to-day upkeep of client workstations and servers. You will work closely with our Service Delivery Manager to enhance support services and ensure client satisfaction.

The role involves 1st line duties, remote and on-site troubleshooting, and regular communication with clients via phone and email. You will grow with a growing team, starting with foundational IT support tasks and documentation,

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A genuine passion for IT and technology.
• Willingness to learn and proactively troubleshoot.
• Excellent time keeping and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform 1st line duties for client IT support.
• Communicate with clients verbally and via emails/tickets.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues remotely and on-site as needed.
• Maintain client expectations with regular ticket updates and response times.
• Monitor support email queue and respond promptly.
• Create and update internal and client-facing documentation.
• Review backups and other critical system functions daily.
